Djoken serves as executive director of UNESCO Center for Peace and chairman of the U.S. National Commission for UNESCO Clubs, Centers and Associations.
The award was created to mark July 10, the birthday of Serbian-American engineer and inventor Nikola Tesla.
Djoken, a respected global activist for peace and human rights, received the award from Matica Srpska President Dragan Stanić, at a ceremony held at this oldest scientific institution in Serbia, which Tesla also had connections with. Read original post .
