Our programme offers many advantages that each participant carries out upon the completion of IMUN camp. The needs and interests of Camp members are met through diverse, integrated and intentional programming. The Core Program is designed to include activities and services that enhance the growth and development of children. The nine Core Program Areas provide an overall framework for the camp program. It is based on physical, emotional, cultural and social needs and interests of young people, and recognizes developmental principles. The Camp offers program activities in the following nine Core Program Areas:
Model United Nations Conference
The conference encourages participants to understand today’s world, and gives them an opportunity to address global issues from different perspectives. During the conference, participants employ a variety of communication and critical thinking skills learned in the program in order to represent the policies of their countries. These skills include public speaking, small group communications, research, policy analysis, active listening, negotiating, note taking, and technical writing.
The Conflict Resolution 101, Effective Communication Skills 101 & Cultural Diversity workshops
