The Distinguished Speaker Series lectures is a monthly program designed to expose local students (high school and college level) and civil society members to the views of our speakers on a wide variety of topics involving peace, world affairs, politics, business and economics, science and environment, history, arts and entertainment. Distinguished speakers enlighten their audience to the unique perspective of other societies, their accomplishments and challenges in the 21st century, thus serving as the medium between two communities through which conversations may begin. The Speaker Series events include panel discussions on social issues, world events, as distinguished Speakers get the opportunity to educate students on their their home country’s views and challenges in the modern world.
